In October, we announced that after 9 wonderful years in Tooting Market, it’s finally time for Laura and Kiki to move on 🥲 BUT EXCITING NEWS! we’re so happy to say that Unwined manager Amy, who many of you already know, will be taking over the site from Mon 4th November!

Saying goodbye to Tooting is very much the end of an era for us! The Unwined journey started with our little unit in Tooting Market, and it’s where we formed many of the foundations that we still pride ourselves on today.

Unwined in Tooting has been so much more than a business to us; it’s about the community who joined us on this journey too. From the crowdfunders, to the locals and regulars, the pop up chefs and team members past and present - we can’t thank you enough for all the support through the years. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

There is no easy way to say goodbye, but being able to pass the baton on to a member of our team helps. We’re so excited to see Amy take the step to business owner, and we believe Tooting’s future will be all the brighter because of it. Amy is very much looking forward to continuing the journey with you all!

  • great wines! - same great selection of wines, available to drink in or take away - in both Tooting and Waterloo

  • same friendly faces of Amy & Flavia running the Tooting space

  • weekly wine tastings are staying - they will continue on Wednesday night and Fri afternoon tastings in Tooting, and Monday nights in Waterloo

  • Tooting Trader Supperclubs will be continuing with Amy in Tooting

  • the Wine Club Subscription, online bottle shop and cases will also continue to be dispatched and available for collection in Tooting

what’s changing?

  • Unwined Experience kits and DIY tasting cases will be dispatched and available from collection in Waterloo from Nov 4th

  • the Tooting space will be re-branded by Amy in Jan 2025 - keep you eyes peeled for the reveal!

  • vouchers - from Nov 4th, all Unwined vouchers (including in store/printed vouchers and online/digital vouchers) can be redeemable either in store at Unwined at Waterloo on dining in or retail purchases, OR for online purchases including our DIY tasting cases, Experience Kits or Waterloo tasting tickets. Please contact us if you have a printed voucher and want to use online, or any other questions.

what about Waterloo? & private events?

This handover only impacts on Unwined in Tooting, Unwined in Waterloo is still open and operating as normal. Unwined events (on site and off site) will be operating from Waterloo from Nov 4th, and if you’re keen for an event at Unwined in Tooting, just drop us a line tooting@unwinedbars.co.uk.

where are Laura & Kiki going?

As you might know, it’s been a few years since Laura & Kiki have been Tooting locals, and it felt like it’s the right time to pass the baton on to a new local to take the space forward for it’s next chapter. The whole team couldn’t be more thrilled that Amy is keen to takeover and carry on the concept. This opportunity allows Laura & Kiki to focus their attention on Unwined in Waterloo - please do visit when you’re in town!

i have a voucher, how and where can i use it?

We are learning things as we go through this transition - we had initially said vouchers could be redeemed in both sites until the end of 2024. However, having looked into the logistics for this it’s unmanageable, and as such all vouchers will only be redeemable via Unwined in Waterloo from Nov 4th - either in store or on line at unwinedbars.co.uk. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes, and please email us at hello@unwinedbars.co.uk if you have any questions.

i want to buy wine online, how does this work now?

The online wine shop & mixed cases (as well as the Wine Club subscription) will be remaining in Tooting, and you’ll be able to have wine delivered direct to you or collect in Tooting. Over the next few months these pages of our website will migrate to Amy’s new website - if you have any troubles just let us know!

what does this mean for my Wine Club subscription?

I want to order an Unwined Experience kit and collect in Tooting, can I do that?

From November any Unwined Experience Kits or DIY Tasting cases purchased on unwinedbars.co.uk can be collected from Unwined in Waterloo, or delivered direct to you! We will be dispatching on Wednesdays and use next day courier services, so you should have your order by the weekend.
