Unwined at Yours - FAQs

How much does it cost?

If you’re looking to host the tasting yourself, with a little help from our notes and videos, it’s just the cost of the case or kit you choose.

If you prefer to opt for us to host the tasting, we charge a hosting fee (inc. VAT), which varies depending on how many people - Emma will send you details about this. Please note: this is on top of the wines of the theme and quantity you choose.

How do I get my wine for the tasting?

If you are hosting your own tasting, head to our DIY Tasting or Unwined Kits pages to order your case.

If Unwined is hosting your tasting, once you have decided on a theme and how much, Emma will send you an exclusive link to purchase your wine. You can choose to have them delivered directly to your door (£5 delivery nationwide) or collect from one of our London stores, in Tooting or Waterloo.

How long will the tasting last?

DIY Tastings and Unwined Kits can be enjoyed at your leisure.

Hosted tastings are roughly 1.5 hours after which your host will leave and you can continue the festivities!

How do my guests pay?

You can order DIY tasting cases and Unwined at Home kits directly from our website. If you have chosen an Unwined hosted tasting, we will send you a link to purchase your wines which you can send on to your friends and family. We will ask for the hosting fee to be paid by the organiser.

Is there a minimum number of people needed to host a virtual tasting?

For Unwined hosted tastings, we would ask for 6 people minimum. For smaller groups who are living together we suggest the DIY tasting case or Unwined at Home kit.

How much notice do you need?

We send out shipments on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Parcelforce on a next day service - however due to increased demand in the courier network we suggest ordering in good time in case there are any delays. We recommend the Unwined Kits are best consumed within 7 days.

For hosted events - popularity for our virtual events is growing, particularly at this time of year, so we ask for 10 days notice minimum and subject to availability. If anything changes once your event has been locked in, we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling, but this can not be guaranteed.

I wanted to pick my own tasting topic, is this possible?

Please to let us know if you would like a bespoke topic - this will require special planning and organisation so will incur extra charges. We are still finding some limitations on wines available at this time but we are confident we can offer you a tasting with an interesting and varied range of wines.
