Véronique Günther-Chéreau, decided in 1990 to return to her family’s estate after achieving a doctorate degree in pharmacy. Véronique’s family had been making wine at Saint Fiacre since 1421. The Chateau's name, 'Coing', is a derivative of 'coin' meaning corner in French, indicating this wine comes from the very heart of the appellation.
