An orange Pinot Gris from the Loire, which due to the pink hues in the grape actually give a vibrant pink colour in this orange wine.
Bernard Landron set up his estate in this lesser known wine region Ancenis, (to the North-East of Nantes) to make bulk wine.
But when eldest son Benoît joined the estate after his degree in viticulture and oenology, they started to bottle their own wine - organic conversion began in 2010.
They now make a unique selection of wines from grapes that are suited to the cooler climate, and have gained quite a following over the years, for their avant garde approach.
