Monemvasia winery was set up by the Tsimbidi family in 1997 to revive the birthplace of the ancient Malvasia grape.

They have since discovered an abundance of rare Greek varietals that they embrace in their wines. The name of this wine is inspired by the twisting uphill pathway leading to the Upper Town of Monemvasia, called Voltes.

A blend of Moschofilero and Roditis, the former is a pink skinned aromatic grape, which adds a lot of character to the wine.
