The Savatiano grape is well-adapted to the Attikan climate, and almost brings a taste of Greece to the glass!

Domaine Papagiannakos was established in 1919 in the heart of the plain of Mesogaia, Attica - just 30km from the shadow of the Acropolis.

The Savatiano variety has always been the winery's focus. The grapes for this wine are sourced from 7 blocks of 50 year old, low-yielding, unirrigated Savatiano vines in Markopoulo.
